Well, it's t-minus 5.5 hours til our flight to Paris. My first trans-Atlantic flight, yikes! I'm getting more & more excited though I must admit I'm still incredibly nervous. I'm afraid i won't pick up the language & get accepted into society, though so are many of my fellow PCTs (peace corps trainees), which is extremely comforting to know. But our directors keep reassuring us both will come with time. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. We're getting ready to board the bus for the airport. Love you all & miss you so much already. I hope to get this puppy updated as much as possible for you can all, hopefully, get a glimpse of what my life will be like for the next 27 months.
All my love,
Tess

Hey Tess! How has everything been going? Sometimes I think about it and I can't believe you are in Africa... it really takes a special person to do this program and you are the right fit! I hope all is well!
